Evaluating a Funnel Experiment

Understand how to read results and determine performance across experiment variants.

Updated today

Once you have launched funnel experiments, results will begin populating automatically in the Experiments view. This article walks through how to access experiment results and interpret the key metrics available in FERMÀT.

What’s in this guide:

Reading Experiment Funnel Metrics

After creating an experiment, you can view its performance from the Experiments under the Funnels section in the left-hand navigation.

This view displays all active, draft, and ended experiments. To view results for a specific experiment, click the experiment you want to see the analytics for.

You can also search for past experiments using the search bar at the top of the Experiments view or you can filter or sort experiment.

When you open an experiment’s analytics, you’ll see a funnel breakdown for each variant, showing how traffic moves through every step of the funnel.

From this view, you can compare performance across variants using metrics such as:

  • Conversion Rate (CVR)

  • Average Order Value (AOV)

  • Direct Revenue

  • Direct GMV

  • Revenue Per Session

You’ll also be able to see how individual products and bundles perform within each experiment funnel, making it easier to identify what’s driving changes in performance.

Reaching Statistical Significance

Each experiment analytics view includes a statistical significance calculator.

This tool allows you to select the metric you care about and evaluate whether the observed performance differences between variants are statistically meaningful.

Use this calculator to understand how close your experiment is to reaching statistical significance and whether results can be considered reliable before making decisions.
