If you're a subscription-first brand—or just looking to boost your subscription numbers—this feature is for you. You now have the ability to turn off one-time purchase (OTP) options on a product detail page (PDP), so shoppers only see your subscription plans.
Where to Make the Change
You’ve got two ways to remove the one-time purchase option: at the product level (applies to everything), or at the variant level (more specific control). Here’s how both work:
Option 1: Remove OTP for the Entire Product
Head to the Products page in your FERMÀT dashboard.
Choose the product you want to update.
On the right-hand panel click on Settings and go to the Purchase Options.
In the Purchase Options tab, toggle off the “One Time Purchase” option.
This will apply across all variants of the product.
Option 2: Remove OTP for Specific Variants Only
In that same panel, switch to the Variants tab.
Find the variant(s) where you only want to show subscriptions.
Toggle off the “One Time Purchase” option just for those.
This is a great option if you want to test this setup on just a few product versions first.
What Your Shoppers Will See
Once you’ve saved your changes:
Only the subscription options will appear on the PDP (like “Deliver every month, 20% off”).
The one-time purchase button will be completely hidden.
Your subscription pricing and delivery schedule will be front and center.
It gives shoppers a clear, streamlined path to subscribing—no distractions.
