Connecting Attentive forms to FERMÀT enables you to collect SMS subscribers directly through your funnels. This integration helps you expand your SMS list while maintaining strong conversion performance. Follow the steps below to complete the setup.
Before starting the integration, ensure you have the following:
An active form in Attentive
If you haven’t created a form yet, log in to your Attentive account and create one before proceeding.
Your Attentive brand name and Shopify domain
These values are required during the configuration process.
Finding Your Attentive Brand Name
Important: The Attentive ID field requires your Attentive brand name (also referred to as your account name), not an individual form ID.
Follow these steps to locate your Attentive brand name:
Log in to your Attentive account.
Navigate to Settings in your Attentive dashboard.
Locate your brand name or account name within the settings section.
Each sign-up unit in Attentive has its own unique ID. However, for this integration, you must use your overall brand or account name.
For example, if your brand is “Acme Beauty”, enter Acme Beauty as the Attentive ID.
Managing Form Visibility
Important: To ensure your Attentive form displays on your FERMÀT funnels, you'll need to configure URL targeting in Attentive.
In your Attentive account, navigate to the targeting or display rules section of your form
Add your FERMÀT funnel URLs to the targeting rules:
Include your Forever Link URL
Add any additional specific funnel page URLs as needed
Save your targeting settings
Once visibility is configured, you can connect Attentive to your FERMÀT funnels.
Important: Without proper URL targeting configured in Attentive, your form will not appear on your FERMÀT pages, even if the integration is set up correctly in FERMÀT.
Connecting Your Attentive Form
Follow these steps to connect your Attentive form to your FERMÀT funnel:
Open the desired funnel in FERMÀT.
Navigate to the Settings section of your funnel.
Select Email & SMS Popup.
Choose Attentive as your integration.
Enter the required details:
Attentive ID: Your Attentive brand name (for example, Acme Beauty).
myshopify domain: Your Shopify store domain.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection process.

Troubleshooting
If your Attentive form is not displaying or connecting as expected, review the following steps to identify and resolve common issues:
Use a Forever Link to verify if your popup is firing correctly
Note that popups may not display on preview links
Test form behavior in both desktop and mobile environments
If your form isn't appearing: Verify that URL targeting is configured in Attentive to include your FERMÀT funnel URLs
If the integration isn't connecting: Confirm you're using your Attentive brand name (not a form ID) in the Attentive ID field
