Here's how to collect customer contact information through Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, or Recart.

Using Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, or Recart to capture customer contact information is a great consolation prize to someone purchasing in-session. It gives you the ability to market to them again later.

You can connect those email/SMS capture points to your FERMÀT funnels.


Adding an Email/SMS Capture Point to a Funnel

You can add a contact capture point to your funnels using one of our available integrations (Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, Recart).

First, navigate to the funnel you would like to add the capture point to. You will add this in the settings of that particular funnel.

Once you are in the funnel you want to add the capture to, navigate to the settings section.

From here, select the integration you want to add and follow the onscreen prompts.

  1. Mobile-First Testing

    • Test your form's appearance and behavior specifically on mobile

    • Ensure forms are properly sized for mobile screens

  2. Strategic Form Timing

    • Add a 50% scroll delay before showing the form

    • Avoid displaying forms immediately on landing

    • Test form behavior after initial dismissal

  3. Placement Optimization

    • Verify forms don't cover critical elements like "Add to Bag" buttons

    • Test form placement across different screen sizes

    • Ensure forms don't obstruct important funnel information


Connecting Your Email/SMS Capture Form

  1. Klaviyo - Create your Klaviyo form first, then grab the form ID (six-letter code from URL) and enter it in your FERMÀT funnel settings. To learn more refer to How to Connect Klaviyo Forms

  2. Postscript - Build your Postscript form, get your Shop ID from settings, configure visibility, and add it to your FERMÀT funnel settings. To learn more refer to How to Connect Postscript Forms

  3. Recart - Create your Recart form, gather your Organization ID plus Recart/myshopify domains, and enter them in FERMÀT funnel settings. To learn more refer to How to Connect Recart Forms

  4. Attentive - Set up your Attentive form, locate your Attentive ID and myshopify domain from settings, then add them to FERMÀT funnel settings. To learn more refer to How to Connect Attentive Forms
