Quizzes are a powerful way to guide shoppers toward the best product for their needs. FERMÀT integrates directly with Octane.ai, allowing you to embed a quiz inside any funnel.

Build Your Quiz in Octane
To use an Octane quiz inside a FERMÀT funnel, Octane must be installed on the same Shopify store connected to FERMÀT.
1. Craft your quiz in Octane: Build the full quiz experience in Octane — questions, logic, outcomes, and recommended products.
Your quiz is fully controlled and managed inside Octane.
2. Apply the required Octane settings: Before connecting to FERMÀT, the quiz must have the appropriate settings turned on.
If the quiz is also used somewhere else on your site, clone it to create a dedicated version for FERMÀT.
Publish the Quiz & Grab the Required IDs
Once your settings are correct:
Publish the quiz in Octane
Click Get the code
Copy the following two values:
Data Quiz ID
Script Quiz ID
These two IDs are required for FERMÀT to load and run your quiz.
Adding a Quiz to a FERMÀT Funnel
Once your quiz is published:
Open the Funnel you want to add the quiz to
Go to Settings → Octane Quiz
From here you’ll see the Octane Quiz configuration window.
1. Enter your Quiz IDs
Paste both values from Octane:
Script Quiz ID
Data Quiz ID
2. Add your button text
Add the Octane Quiz Button Module in the funnel
3. Set your button text
This is the label that appears on the Quiz CTA button inside the funnel.
5. Add your recommended products
Add all products that may appear as outcomes in the quiz so shoppers can add them to their bag directly through FERMÀT.
Important Notes
You can place multiple quiz triggers throughout your funnel by cloning buttons or CTAs.
Only one quiz configuration is needed per funnel — all triggers reference the same quiz.
Be sure to include every potential recommended product so the add-to-bag flow works correctly.
