Understanding Apple Pay Availability in FERMÀT

Apple Pay is automatically supported in your FERMÀT funnels when your brand meets the required conditions. No manual setup is necessary.

Updated this week

FERMÀT enables Apple Pay as part of the native checkout experience for brands using a verified custom domain that also meet Apple’s eligibility guidelines. This allows customers to complete purchases quickly and securely using Apple Pay.

What’s in this guide:

  • Apple Pay Activation Requirements

  • How to Verify Apple Pay Availability

  • Troubleshooting

Apple Pay Activation Requirements

Apple Pay is enabled automatically in FERMÀT if:

  • Your funnel uses a custom domain (not a *.fermat.shop default domain), and

  • Your brand meets Apple’s eligibility guidelines for Apple Pay (e.g. accepted product categories, valid merchant information, supported regions)

No additional configuration is needed if both of the above are true.

Where Does it Work?

  • US-based merchants can fully utilize Apple Pay in their FERMÀT funnels

  • We support payment cards issued from several major regions:

    • United States - Full support for all US-issued payment cards

    • Germany - Compatible with German bank-issued cards

    • Canada - Supports Canadian-issued payment methods

    • Britain - Works with UK-issued payment cards

How to Verify Apple Pay Availability

To confirm that Apple Pay is functioning on your funnel:

  1. Visit a live funnel hosted on your custom domain

  2. Add a product to cart

  3. Proceed to checkout

  4. If Apple Pay is supported on the customer’s device and browser, it will appear above the standard checkout form

Note: Apple Pay will only display for users on Apple-supported devices and browsers such as Safari on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Troubleshooting

If Apple Pay is not appearing at checkout:

  • Make sure your funnel is using a custom domain

  • Confirm that the customer is using a compatible device and browser

  • Review Apple’s Apple Pay guidelines to ensure your brand and product types are eligible

  • If the issue persists and your setup meets all requirements, reach out to us at [email protected]
