If your business operates in regions with data privacy regulations, displaying a cookie consent banner is often a legal requirement.
FERMÀT makes it easy to add a customizable cookie consent banner to your funnel, so you can stay compliant.
What’s in this guide
What Is a Cookie Consent Banner?
A cookie consent banner is a notification that informs visitors your site uses cookies, giving them the option to accept or manage preferences.
In FERMÀT, cookie banners can be added directly to any funnel to meet privacy compliance standards (like GDPR or CCPA) and reassure users about how their data is used.
When to Use It
You should enable a cookie consent banner if you:
Operate in the EU, UK, California, or any region with digital privacy regulations
Use tools that track customer behavior (e.g. analytics, ad pixels, personalization engines)
Want to avoid disruptions to funnel performance by using banner types that match your compliance needs
Want to give users more transparency and control over their data
Even if it’s not legally required in your area, enabling a banner is a best practice for building customer trust.
